Enrollment Guidelines
This means:
1. Entrance Examination will no longer be required for enrollment as new students for both Senior High School and College programs.
2. After submitting the online application, applicants may proceed to the next steps of the enrollment process.
3. A diagnostics exam will be administered as part of the post-enrollment clearance. Results will be used as baseline data to determine the readiness of the students for the program applied.
Enrollment Management System
Online enrollment transactions for new students are available and all required forms are to be submitted through Blackboard Learn (BBL) which is MCL’s learning management system. The Admissions Team will also accommodate face-to-face transactions and submission of enrollment requirements on-site.

1. Upon successful payment and verification of the application fee, you will receive your acceptance letter which will include an authentication code. If you have not received your authentication code, please send an email to: [email protected] for assistance. Please expect a response within 24 hours.
2. You may secure your log-in credentials by visiting https://join.mcl.edu.ph/OnlineAdmission/ and keying in your authentication code in the authentication field:Kindly take note of the following information on the succeeding pop-up message:
• Student Number / BBL Username
• MCL Live email account
• MCL Live email password
• Default password for Blackboard Learn
3. Log-in at MCL BlackBoard Learn (https://mcl.blackboard.com/) and proceed to the course “Enrollment Management System.”
4. Navigate to “Enrollment Requirements” to upload and submit the documents. All scanned/electronic copies of the documents to be submitted must be in JPEG or PDF formats, make sure that all details are clear and readable.

6. All enrollment concerns are to be sent to the instructors through “course message”. Avoid sending messages to all course members. Only send your course message to the instructor.
7. All students are advised to monitor and check their BlackBoard Learn accounts daily for updates and instructions.
8. While the online submission of documents is allowed until August 15, 2022; enrollment procedures (until payment) must be completed in ten (10) working days. Failure to do so will result to unenrollment in the section assigned to the student.
9. Validation of submitted documents through BlackBoard Learn will run between 3 to 5 working days. Please be patient in waiting for the next set of instructions which will be communicated via BBL’s course messages.
10. The Generated Schedule and Assessment will only be released upon verification of submitted documents in Blackboard Learn.
1. It is the responsibility of the student applicant and the parents to ensure the authenticity of the documents submitted.
2. MCL reserves the right to:
a. Cancel the admission of the student if after enrollment, the documents submitted were proven to be fake, tampered, or manipulated.
b. Require resubmission of documents due to poor image quality and readability.
c. Request for supporting documents of the ones submitted previously.
3. Since actual physical signatures cannot be affixed on the printed documents, scanned copies of any valid proof of identification of the student and parents will be required in the execution of enrollment forms that need to be originally signed.
4. Original and hardcopies of the enrollment requirements are still required to be submitted not later than August 10, 2022.
5. As per Article V, Section C, Page 8 of the enclosure to the Department of Education Memorandum No. 3, Series of 2018; otherwise known as the Basic Education Enrollment Policy; all student-applicants will be considered on temporarily enrollment until such time that all original documents are submitted.
6. Parent/s or the duly authorized guardian of the student-applicant is required to submit an Affidavit of Undertaking for the student-applicant to be temporarily enrolled.
7. Failure of the student to submit the original documents after August 10, 2022 may have the following consequences:
a. Non-enrollment in the DepEd’s Learner Information System (LIS) for Senior High School.
b. Non-inclusion to the terminal enrollment report to be submitted to CHED for College.
c. Future problems in the processing of Special Order for graduation.
For new students with issues and concerns on the availability of these documents, please consult your Admissions Adviser to guide you on how to proceed with your application and enrollment.
1. Senior High School Voucher refers to the subsidy given by the Government to Grade 10 students who are enrolling in private educational institutions for Grade 11.
2. MCL has no control over the administration and availment of SHS Vouchers to new students. Application must be facilitated by the new students and/or parents through the online facility of the government’s Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), or in securing the necessary certification as a current ESC grantee from the Junior High School.
3. Eligibility for the voucher program is as follows:
• Grade 10 completers from public schools are automatic beneficiaries
• Grade 10 completers from private schools that are part of the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program of DepEd are automatic beneficiaries. Inquire with your principal or registrar if your school is part of the ESC program.
• Students who are not automatic beneficiaries of the voucher program need to process the application themselves through the Private Education Assistance Committee website.
4. Entrance Scholarships are given to enrolled students who performed excellently in the scholarship exam to be administered by MCL. Passers may qualify for any of the following:
• E.T. Yuchengco Institutional Scholarship
• MCL Wizards Scholarship
5. Sibling Discount is given to students with siblings who are also enrolled at MCL.
6. Promotional Discounts refers to the incentives given to MCL Senior High School graduates, and dependents of the employees of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, Ayala Corporation, and other organizations with existing agreement with MCL on granting discounts.
Complete details of the scholarship programs including benefits and incentives may be found on the MCL website:
1. Since the admissions examinations are waived for A.Y. 2022-2023, a separate entrance scholarship examination will be conducted to those who wish to apply. This will be scheduled in March 2022.
2. Only the enrolled students are eligible to apply for the entrance scholarship exam.
3. If the student qualifies for the scholarship, the value/amount of the scholarship:
a. May be deducted from the current balance of the student.
b. May be refunded as requested by the student and parent/s.
c. May be carried over to the next term/semester.
4. Application for the Athletic Scholarship Program and the conduct of try-outs is postponed until further notice.
5. Availment of the following scholarship grants and discounts may be applied upon enrollment provided that all required supporting documents are submitted:
a. Sibling Discount – birth certificate of the siblings; and proof that the elder sibling is already enrolled.
b. YGC and Ayala Promotional Discount – application form and waiver with certification from the HR Head; scanned copy of company ID of the parent who is employed at YGC/Ayala

Online Mastercard and Visa debit and credit card payments for tuition fees and other charges may be done through the RCBC Bankard Payment Gateway on OneMCL. This payment channel will facilitate real-time crediting of transactions.

Payments for tuition fee, back account, penalty, and other charges (document requests) are accepted via the RCBC over-the-counter Bills Payment Service. Fill out a green Bills Payment/Collection Slip with the following details:
