I was not able to attend New Student Orientation. How can I comply with the New Student Clearance requirement?

If you missed the on-site orientation, you may access the New Student Orientation Course via Blackboard Learn (BBL). To proceed with your New Student Clearance signing form the Student Affairs Office (SAO), you are required to comply with all of the course requirements uploaded via the New Student Orientation Course in BBL.

How can I access Canvas?

To access Canvas:

  • Go to https://mapua.instructure.com/
  • Click forgot password in the login interface and follow the instructions in the pop-up window.
  • Check your email in MS Outlook using your MCL Live account (e.g. [email protected]) and wait for the notification about your new login credentials in Canvas.

I still have no access to their BBL/Canvas Courses. Which office should I go to seek assistance?

Please note that your access to BBL and Canvas will depend on your official enrollment status. Once your enrollment status is confirmed, your BBL Ultra/Canvas will be automatically activated.
