Entrance Scholarships for Applicants
BENEFITS:
*Free full tuition, L/F/D, and miscellaneous fees for the school year.
*Learning materials worth P2,000 per term available only at Mapúa MCL Bookstore.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11 student;
*belong to the Top 5 Mapúa MCL Entrance Scholarship applicants selected based on: (1) the Mapúa MCL Entrance Examination rating of at least 80%; (2) Grade 9 General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Submit Application Form for Scholarship (Mapúa MCL Entrance Scholarship)
*Take the Mapúa MCL Entrance Examination on or before May 26, 2023.
*Submit Certification of Grade 9 General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Must achieve a Grade 11 GWA of at least 90%.
*Must have no student discipline record for any major offense.
BENEFITS:
*25%-50% tuition and L/F/D fees discounts for the entire Grade 11 School Year only.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11 student;
*belong to the Top 40 Mapúa MCL Entrance Scholarship applicants after the selection of the ETYISP grantees based on: (1) the Mapúa MCL Entrance Examination rating of at least 80%; (2) Grade 9 General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Submit Application Form for Scholarship (Mapúa MCL Entrance Scholarship).
*Take the Mapúa MCL Entrance Examination on or before May 26, 2023.
*Submit Certification of Grade 9 General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*None. Scholarship is applicable only during entire Grade 11 School Year only.
*May qualify for Academic Academic Achievement Incentive in the Grade 12 School Year.
BENEFITS:
*25%-100% tuition and L/F/D fees discounts for the incoming Semester only
*Free sports uniform, transportation, and meal allowance during tournament games.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student (Grade 12) student;
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Undergo scheduled try-outs in March 2023 or during Sem break for the different Mapúa MCL SHS sports and athletic teams
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Continuing students must not have any failing grades in the previous semester.
BENEFITS:
*25%-50% tuition and L/F/D fees discounts for the next school year (Grade 12).
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Mapúa MCL Grade 12 student who belong to the top 5% of the strand in terms of GWA during previous school year (Grade 11).
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be in the list of top 5% of the strand in terms of GWA during previous school year as certified by the Student Affairs Director and approved by the Executive Vice President.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have no student discipline record for any major offense.
BENEFITS:
*Php 5,000 discount on total fees
QUALIFICATIONS:
*First 100 incoming/new Mapúa MCL-SHS students who will be enrolling until April 30, 2023.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Initial minimum payment of Php 10,000.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11 transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of a YGC member company.

*Submit duly accomplished Application Form for YGC Promotional Discount which will be verified within 24 hours.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student’s parent must continue to be a regular employee of a YGC member company.
BENEFITS:
*25% tuition and L/F/D discounts renewable every term.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of an Ayala member company.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
APPLICANT MUST:
*Submit duly accomplished Application Form for Ayala Promotional Discount which will be verified within 24 hours.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student’s parent must continue to be a regular employee of an Ayala member company.

*50% tuition and L/F/D discounts renewable every term.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of Mapúa MCL.

CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student’s parent must continue to be a regular employee of Mapúa MCL.

*First sibling – 10% tuition fee discount for the Semester
*Second sibling – 25% tuition fee discount for the Semester
*Third sibling – 40% tuition fee discount for the Semester
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student verified to be a younger sibling of another student currently enrolled at Mapúa MCL.
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
OLDEST SIBLING MUST:
*Submit duly accomplished Sibling Discount Application Form with required proof of enrollment (e.g. Official Receipt of payment of school fees, Certificate of Matriculation).
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student must continue to have an older sibling enrolled during the Semester.
BENEFITS:
*Php 14,000 DepEd subsidy per school year
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student with submitted certificates for ESC and Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA).
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
APPLICANT MUST:
*Submit ESC / QVA Certificate upon enrollment to Mapúa MCL; NOTE: QVA Certificate may be submitted after enrollment not later than October 15, 2023
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student must continue to study in Mapúa MCL-SHS for their Grade 12 immediately after Grade 11 school year.
*Transferee students must have availed of the ESC / QVA in the immediately preceding school year as Grade 11 students.
BENEFITS:
*Php 17,500 DepEd subsidy per school year
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student who come from a public school as an automatic Qualified Voucher Recipient (QVR)
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
APPLICANT MUST:
*Submit public school report card upon enrollment to Mapúa MCL.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
*Student must continue to study in Mapúa MCL-SHS for their Grade 12 immediately after Grade 11 school year.
*Transferee students must have availed of their being a QVR in the immediately preceding school year as Grade 11 students.
Other Scholarships and Financial Programs
The Academic Achievement Incentive is given to Mapúa MCL Senior High School Grade 12 students with regular academic load who topped their respective strands in terms of GWA in the previous school year.
Benefits:
• 25% to 50% tuition fee discount
To retain the scholarship: The recipient must have no disciplinary action imposed for a major offense during the term. Students with disciplinary record for any major offense are disqualified for the scholarship.
The Mapúa MCL Athletic Scholarship is awarded to incoming Grade 11 and current Senior High School students qualified and selected for their potential to bring prestige, honor, and glory to Mapúa MCL as sports ambassadors and as role models of excellence and virtue through the following sports: basketball, football, baseball, and volleyball for males; volleyball for females.
NOTE: In view of the community quarantine restrictions, tryouts for athletic scholarships may only be
conducted once government allows the resumption of sports/athletic activities and competitions
Benefits:
• 25% to 100% tuition and L/F/D fees discounts for 1 semester.
• Free sports uniform and meal allowance and transportation during tournament games.
To retain the scholarship: The recipient must obtain a units passed percentage (UPP) of 80% (for Grade 11) or 100% (for Grade 12) in all enrolled courses during the immediately preceding semester; be in the list of students recommended for athletic scholarship by the SHS coach for his sport; and have no adverse disciplinary record.
Winners of selected events of the annual Mapúa MCL Cup qualify for the Mapúa MCL Cup Scholarship.
Benefits:
• The terms and conditions of the scholarship benefits are stipulated in the Mapúa MCL Cup Scholarship Certificate.
To retain the scholarship: The recipient must have no disciplinary action imposed for a major offense during the term. Students with disciplinary record for any major offense are disqualified for the scholarship.
Mapúa MCL partners with the government in the implementation of the following subsidy programs for higher education institutions and senior high schools:
DepEd Voucher Program for Senior High School
ESC or Educational Service Contracting (continuation from previous Junior High School)
To qualify for the YGC or Ayala Corporation Promotional Discount, a student must have a parent who has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of a YGC or Ayala Corporation member company.
Benefits:
• 25% tuition fee and L/F/D discounts per term
To retain the financial aid: The recipient must have no disciplinary action imposed for a major offense during the term. Financial aid may only be availed within the number of curriculum years/terms of the qualified student’s academic program.
To qualify for the Sibling Discount, a Mapúa MCL Senior High School (SHS) student must be verified to be a younger sibling of another student currently enrolled at Mapúa MCL.
Benefits:
•First sibling – 10% tuition fee discount for the term
•Second sibling – 25% tuition fee discount for the term
•Third sibling – 40% tuition fee discount for the term
