Regular Mapúa MCL SHS Entrance Scholarships
Scholarship Pre-Selection Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant for admission must be a Grade 10 student who has:
- Achieved a rating of at least 80% in the Mapúa MCL-SHS Admission Placement Assessment (Diagnostic Test) for A.Y. 2026-2027.
- Taken the Diagnostic Test on or before May 9, 2026.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants who have satisfied the Scholarship Pre-Selection Eligibility Requirements will be ranked based on the following:
- Diagnostic Test Results – 80%
- Grade 9 General Weighted Average – 20%
Scholarship Benefits:
Admission applicants who ranked from no. 1 – 10 in the Mapúa MCL-SHS Admission Placement Assessment will be qualified for the Enrique T. Yuchengco Institutional Scholarship Program (ETYISP) for SHS with the following scholarship benefits:
- 100% Free Tuition, Laboratory/Field/Design (LFD) Fees, and Miscellaneous Fees
- Php 2,000 worth of Blue and Silver Book Store merchandise.
Scholarship Benefit Retention requirements:
- Academic Achievement – at least 95% GWA during Grade 11.
- Student Discipline – no adverse student discipline record.
Scholarship Pre-Selection Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant for admission must be a Grade 10 student who has:
- Achieved a rating of at least 80% in the Mapúa MCL-SHS Admission Placement Assessment (Diagnostic Test) for A.Y. 2026-2027.

Scholarship Benefits:
Admission applicants who ranked no. 11 – 30 in the Mapúa MCL-SHS Admission Placement Assessment will be qualified for the Mapúa MCL-SHS Wizards Entrance Scholarship (50%) with the following scholarship benefits:
- 50% Tuition Fees Discount
On the other hand, admission applicants who ranked no. 31 – 50, will be qualified for the Mapúa MCL-SHS Wizards Entrance Scholarship (25%) with the following scholarship benefits:
- 25% Tuition Fees Discount
Mapúa MCL-SHS Wizards Entrance Scholarship may be availed during Grade 11 only, subject to student discipline retention requirements of no adverse student discipline record.
Other Mapúa MCL SHS Scholarships
Scholarship Benefits:
Mapúa MCL offers 25% discount on tuition and L/F/D fees and an advanced musical training program focused on Choral Arts for Academic Year 2026-2027. This opportunity applies to incoming Grade 11 or Grade 12 students; transferees from other schools; and currently enrolled students.
Scholarship Qualifications:
- Experience in singing in a choir (Preferred but not required)
- Able to read choral music sheets
- Knowledgeable in music theory and concepts
Screening Process:
- Music Theory Examination (Written)
- Talent Audition
- Interview
Interested students are required to complete the appropriate online application form as announced.
- Applicants for 1st Sem A.Y. 2026-2027
- Applicants for 2nd Sem A.Y. 2026-2027
Scholarship Benefits:
- 25%-100% tuition and L/F/D fees discounts for the incoming Semester.
- Free sports uniform, transportation, and meal allowance during tournament games.
Qualifications:
Students who qualify for this athletic scholarship are:
- Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student (Grade 12) selected through competitive tryouts.
Initial Requirements:
APPLICANT MUST:
- Must undergo scheduled try-out in March to April 2026 or during term breaks for the different Mapúa MCL SHS sports and athletic teams.
Continuity Requirements:
- Continuing students must not have any failing grades in the previous semester.
BENEFITS:
- 25%-50% tuition fee discounts for the next school year (Grade 12).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Incoming Mapúa MCL Grade 12 student who belongs to the top 5% of the strand in terms of GWA during previous school year (Grade 11).
INITIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be in the list of top 5% of the strand in terms of GWA during previous school year as certified by the Student Affairs Director and approved by the Executive Vice President, SVP for Finance, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and SHS Principal.
CONTINUITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have no student discipline record for any major offense.
Mapúa MCL SHS Discount Offerings
Discount Application Requirements:
Applicant must be a new student coming from any DepEd recognized high school and must have:
- For incoming SHS students – Enrolled for one of the 250 slots during the enrollment validity period (TBA), and paid initial 40% down payment.
- NOTE: It will be the Accounting Office that will determine the final names of students who will be given the Early Bird Discount for Scholarship Validation.
Discount Benefit:
- One-time Php 5,000 across the board discount on all school fees only during the initial semester (for SHS) or term (for UG) of enrollment.
Special Applicability:
The Early Bird Discount will be applicable in combination with other scholarships and discounts.
Discount Application Requirements:
- Accomplished Application Form for Alumni Discount
- Mapúa Alumni ID, Transcript of Record, or Diploma. (photocopy only)
- PSA Birth certificate of the student. (photocopy only)
Discount Benefit:
- For incoming SHS students – One time 10% discount on tuition fees during the initial school year.
Discount Application Requirements:
Applicant may be a new or continuing student and must be a sibling of a tenured or regular employee of Mapùa MCL. He/she must have:
Complied with the submission of the following documents (c/o Scholarship Validator):
- PSA Birth Certificates of both the employee and the student (photocopy only)
- Accomplished Application Form for Mapùa MCL Employee Sibling Discount.
Discount Benefit:
- For SHS students – 25% discount on tuition fees for the school year.

- 25% tuition and L/F/D discounts renewable every semester.
Qualifications:
- Incoming Grade 11 transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of a YGC member company included in the program.
Requirements:
FIRST TIME APPLICANT:
- PSA birth certificate of student
- Certificate of Employment
- Duly accomplished Application Form for YGC Promotional Discount; subject to verification with YGC.
REPEAT APPLICANT:
- Duly accomplished Application Form for YGC Promotional Discount; subject to verification with YGC.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student’s parent must be a regular employee of YGC member company included in the program at the time of enrollment.
Benefits:
- 25% tuition and L/F/D discounts renewable every semester.
Qualifications:
- Incoming Grade 11 transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be currently a regular employee of a Ayala member company included in the program.
Initial Requirements:
FIRST TIME APPLICANT:
- PSA birth certificate of student
- Certificate of Employment
- Duly accomplished Application Form for Ayala Promotional Discount; subject to verification with Ayala.
REPEAT APPLICANT:
- Duly accomplished Application Form for Ayala Promotional Discount; subject to verification with Ayala.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student’s parent must continue to be a regular employee of Ayala member company included in the program at the time of enrollment.
Benefits:
- 50% tuition and L/F/D discounts renewable every school year.
Qualifications:
Incoming Freshman, transferee, or continuing student whose parent has been verified and certified to be the currently a regular employee of Mapúa MCL.
Requirements:
FIRST TIME APPLICANT:
- PSA birth certificate of student
- Duly accomplished Application Form for Mapúa MCL Study Aid; subject to verification with HRMO.
REPEAT APPLICANT:
- Duly accomplished Application Form for Mapúa MCL Study Aid; subject to verification with HRMO.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student’s parent must continue to be a regular employee of Mapúa MCL.
Benefits:
- First sibling – 10% tuition fee discount for the term.
- Second sibling – 25% tuition fee discount for the term.
- Third sibling – 40% tuition fee discount for the term.
Qualifications:
- Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student verified to be a younger sibling of another student currently enrolled at Mapúa MCL.
Requirements:
FIRST TIME APPLICANT:
- PSA birth certificate of both siblings.
- Duly accomplished Sibling Discount Application Form.
- Required proof of enrollment (e.g. Official Receipt of payment of school fees, Certificate of Matriculation).
REPEAT APPLICANT:
- Same as above, except PSA birth certificate of both siblings.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student must continue to have an older sibling enrolled during the term.
Government Subsidies
Financial Assistance Benefits:
- Php 14,000 DepEd subsidy per school year
Qualifications:
- Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student who are are approved for ESC or Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA) program
Initial Requirements:
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT:
- ESC / QVA Certificate upon enrollment to Mapúa MCL; if not yet available, must be submitted to the Center for Scholarships and Financial Assistance (CSFA) not later than the end of the 2nd week of classes
- Report card (Form 138) for the previous school year.
- NOTE: Student must have attended schooling in the previous school year when they enroll in Mapúa MCL-SHS for the ESC or Voucher to be valid.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student must continue to study in Mapúa MCL-SHS for their Grade 12 immediately after Grade 11 school year.
- Transferee students must have availed of the ESC / QVA in the immediately preceding school year as Grade 11 students.
Benefits:
- Php 17,500 DepEd subsidy per school year
Qualifications:
- Incoming Grade 11, transferee, or continuing student who comes from a public school as an automatic Qualified Voucher Recipient (QVR)
Initial Requirements:
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT:
- Public school Report card (Form 138) for the previous school year.
- NOTE: Student must have attended schooling in the previous school year when they enroll in Mapúa MCL-SHS for the PEAC voucher to be valid.
Continuity Requirements:
- Student must continue to study in Mapúa MCL-SHS for their Grade 12 immediately after Grade 11 school year.
- Transferee students must have availed of the QVR in the immediately preceding school year as Grade 11 students.
NOTE: Applications for validation of scholarships and discounts are allowed only up to the end of the late enrollment or revision of the course load period for the applicable term/school year.
