Submission of Updated ID Photos for School IDs for Batch 2020 and 2021

College and Senior High School students from Batch 2020-2021 and Batch 2021-2022 are requested to submit their updated ID photos for the release of their school IDs until October 31, 2021.

Please read the following guidelines carefully:

  1. ID picture with at least 640 x 480 resolution
  2. The picture must be saved in .JPEG or .JPG format
  3. ID Picture must be taken with white background
  4. Student’s face must be clear and distinguishable. Picture must be taken in a room with good lighting conditions.
  5. The ID Picture must be saved using this format (Student number – Last name, Given Name e.g: 2020112345 – Dela Cruz, Juan)
  6. ID picture must be taken in an eye-level position.
  7. Do not use camera filters.
  8. Facial details must be clear and recognizable.
  9. No wearing of eye glasses.
  10. Remove unnecessary accessories (e.g: Piercings, Necklace, Caps, Earphones, etc.).
  11. Wear appropriate clothing (Formal or Semi-Formal and with collar).
  12. Ears must be visible in the ID Picture (for those with long hair).
  13. Sit up straight and look straight at the camera.
  14. Shoulders must be visibly straight in the ID Picture.

Notes:

For Men

    •  Do not wear sleeveless clothes (e.g. sando).

For Women

    • Do not wear sleeveless clothes
    • Wearing of light cosmetics or makeup is allowed.

MCL to hold 5-day Academic Recess

MCL will have a 5-day Academic Recess for the Colleges and MCL Senior High School department from October 13 to 17, 2021.

    • Online classes will be conducted asynchronously.
    • No formative and/or summative assessments will be deployed.
    • Deadline or submission of course requirements during the academic break will not be imposed.
    • The Center for Guidance and Counseling’s online services will still be available and students can participate voluntarily.
    • E-BLAZE Week Online Fun, Wellness, and Interactive activities will be held during the Academic Recess. All students are highly encouraged to participate.
    • Synchronous learning engagements and assessments will resume on October 18, 2021 (Week 10).

Do you have a talent for dance, music, or the arts? The MCL Center for Guidance and Counseling is now accepting video submissions for Kumusta ka na? An Online Catching-up Session with CGC: Special Edition!

Inspire others and help promote mental health and well-being this upcoming Mental Health Awareness Month.

Read the mechanics below for more information on how to submit your entries.

Mechanics

1. Interested MCL students are encouraged to upload their pre-recorded presentations.

2. Each presentation must instill hope and inspiration to viewers.

  • Sample presentations:
    • Song number
    • Dance number
    • Artwork
    • Musical instruments
    • Other forms of expressive arts

3. All presentations must be at least 60 seconds and up to two (2) minutes long, and must be saved in .mp4 format.

College Freshmen and Transferees for the First Term of A.Y. 2021-2022 enrolled from June to July 2021 who would like to take the Entry MCL English Language Test (MELT), may do so on the following dates:
