Pre-Enrollment Medical Exam for CMET Students (Batch 2020-2021)

All students from Batch 2020 to 2021 from the Mapua-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training (Mapua-PTC CMET) are advised to take note of the following information for their Pre-Enrollment Medical Exam:

The CMET Medical Exam will start on Monday, April 4, 2022, to May 13, 2022.

*Maritime medical guidelines will be followed.

*Results will be provided to the students once available, for pick-up.

*Since the CMET Medical Exam will not require fasting, we highly recommend students to schedule their medical exam during ng weekdays starting at 12:00 PM.

Important Reminders:

    1. Maritime students must bring their vaccination card upon going to Health Metrics. Students without vaccine yet must communicate to CMET office ASAP for further instructions and arrangements.
    2. Kindly present the QR code and any one of the following: (1) valid government ID, School ID, or School Registration on the scheduled date.
    3. Health protocols: Face mask, bring own pen, and if with symptoms, please re-sched until symptoms have cleared.

2022 SouthPoint Vehicle Sticker

MCL students with vehicles who will be participating in Limited Face-to-Face (LF2F) classes are required to avail of the 2022 SouthPoint Vehicle Sticker. Please take note of the following requirements:

  1. Duly accomplished Vehicle Registration Form
  2. Photocopy of OR/CR of Vehicle
  3. Valid Student I.D.
  4. Photocopy of Certificate of Enrollment signed by authorized signatory
  5. Php 150 fee

The vehicle shall be brought to the installation site and the security personnel of Southpoint Subdivision will attach the sticker to the windshield of the vehicle. 

The registration form is also available at the SouthPoint guard house.

Frequently Asked Questions on Limited Face-to-Face Classes at MCL (Third Term, AY 21-22)

Medical Insurance for limited face-to-face (LF2F) classes

All students who will be participating in the limited face-to-face classes (LF2F) are advised to comply with the requirements set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

One requirement is to get medical insurance with coverage for COVID-19 related illnesses.


For students who have yet to get insurance, here are some of the options you may explore:

1. Malayan Insurance – Malayan’s Vital Cover

An accident and hospitalization insurance plan exclusive for MCL students that provides up to 14-day daily hospital income benefit for COVID-19 related illnesses for as low as P91.00 (semi-annual).


2. GInsure, in partnership with SingLife.

Offers an insurance plan for Dengue with free COVID-19 cover for as low as PHP300 per year with a multi-level benefit worth up to PHP421,500, which covers allowance for positive test results for Dengue and confinement, as well as medical cost reimbursement for more severe cases of COVID-19 and Dengue.

Update on COVID-19 Vaccination Status for MCL College Students (2nd Term, AY21-22)

MCL recently conducted a COVID-19 Vaccination Data Survey for MCL College Students as requested by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in line with the implementation of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.  

In line with the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in the country, the MCL College Students are advised to answer the Update on COVID-19 Vaccination Status Survey for the Second Term, A.Y. 2021 – 2022 on a weekly basis. This means that anyone who has been newly vaccinated (whether primary vaccine or booster vaccine) during the week will have to update the form or fill it out again.
