Mapúa MCL signs Memorandum of Agreement with DENSO Group of Companies
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DENSO Group of Companies, solidifying a strategic partnership aimed at advancing industry-academe linkage and developing future-ready professionals.
Representing Mapúa MCL were Engr. Anthony Hilmer S. Medrano, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Prof. James Ronald O. Mesina, Assistant Vice President for External Relations and Global Linkages; Ms. Pearl Stephanie Ulep, Director for Strategic Partnerships and Global Engagement; and Engr. Jesuniño Aquino, Dean of the Mapúa Institute of Technology at Laguna.
From DENSO Philippines Corporation, the MOA signing was attended by Mr. Yuji Torii, President; Ms. Edith Pascual, General Manager for Corporate Administration Division; Ms. Sheila Masakayan, Assistant Manager for Human Resource Management and Development; and Ms. Dina Malaluan, Project Team Leader for Recruitment. Representatives from DENSO Ten Philippines Corporation included Mr. Minoru Urade, President; Mr. Rogelio Paquila, Department Manager for Corporate Planning and Services; and Mr. John Lloyd Labrador, Staff from GAD.
DENSO Ten Solutions Philippines Corporation was represented by Mr. Akira Matsuura, President; Mr. Arnel Aguilar, Department Manager for Corporate Planning and Services; Ms. Lovely Carpio, HR Manager; and Ms. Mary Rose Nicolas, HR Supervisor. From DENSO Techno Philippines, the representatives included Mr. Akihiro Yoshikawa, President; Ms. May Escobanes, General Manager for Administration; and Ms. Shaine Sanie, Officer from TAD.
This partnership paves the way for expanded internship opportunities, industry-aligned training, collaborative projects, and innovative initiatives that connect academic learning with real-world applications. Through this collaboration, both institutions contribute to the advancement of SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, promoting a globally competitive, innovation-driven, and sustainable future.
