Mapúa MCL Holds Blood Donation Drive in Celebration of 20th Founding Anniversary.

In celebration of its 20th Founding Anniversary, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) successfully conducted Life Streams: Blood Donation Drive on January 26, 2026, at Café Enrique, E.T. Yuchengco Building. The activity brought together students, faculty members, and staff who volunteered to donate blood in support of life-saving efforts within the community.

Organized in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Laguna Chapter, Calamba Branch, the initiative provided a meaningful opportunity for members of the Mapúa MCL community to contribute to the ongoing need for a safe, readily available blood supply.

The donation drive highlighted the spirit of service and compassion among participants, reflecting the institution’s commitment to initiatives that support community welfare and public health. Volunteers gathered throughout the day to take part in the activity, demonstrating how collective action can make a significant difference in helping patients who rely on blood donations for medical treatment and emergency care.

Beyond being a commemorative activity for the institution’s anniversary, Life Streams: Blood Donation Drive served as a powerful reminder of the community’s shared dedication to helping save the lives of others. Through initiatives such as this, Mapúa MCL continues to foster a culture of social responsibility and meaningful civic engagement among its students and employees.

This initiative also supports the goals of the United Nations, particularly Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being and Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting community health initiatives and strengthening partnerships with organizations dedicated to humanitarian service.

Through collaborative programs and outreach activities, Mapúa MCL continues to create opportunities for its community to contribute to sustainable development while making a positive impact beyond the campus.
