Mapúa MCL community organizes Brigada Eskwela and DRRM awareness seminar at Pulong Mindanao Elementary School

Last June 27, 2026, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna’s (Mapúa MCL) Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training (Mapúa-PTC CMET) and  Mapúa Institute of Aviation (MIA), in collaboration with the Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement (CSCE), successfully conducted a Brigada Eskwela and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) awareness session at Pulong Mindanao Elementary School, one of the country’s last-mile schools located in the remote Sitio Pulong Mindanao, Barangay Tungkod, Santa Maria, Laguna.    

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reflecting Mapúa MCL’s continued commitment to advancing quality education, building resilient communities, and creating meaningful, lasting impact through service.
