Mapúa MCL Career Fair 2025 Links Students and Alumni to Industry Partners
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) successfully held its Career Fair 2025 on October 6, 2025, at the Covered Court, bringing together students, alumni, and a diverse group of industry partners for a day of career exploration and professional engagement. Organized by the Office for Strategic Partnerships and Global Engagement (OSPGE), the event is a key component of the Pathways to Employability program, which aims to help students and graduates transition into the workforce by connecting them with reputable companies and career opportunities.
The Career Fair was also part of the ASEAN Month 2025 celebration, adding regional relevance to the event’s focus on employability and collaboration. Students from various disciplines had the chance to meet with recruiters, ask questions about job openings and internships, and gain insights into workplace expectations and industry trends. The fair was designed to be more than just a recruitment event; it was a space for meaningful conversations, mentorship, and career discovery.
The fair welcomed a diverse group of participating companies from sectors including food manufacturing, engineering, business, technology, and services. These industry partners helped highlight the event’s role in strengthening industry-academe linkage. This initiative supports Mapúa MCL’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: SDG 4: Quality Education, by providing students with real-world learning experiences and exposure to career pathways; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by promoting access to fair and productive employment opportunities; SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening collaboration between the academic sector and industry leaders.
