Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) formalizes partnership with Healthway Qualimed Hospital Santa Rosa

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) formalized a strategic partnership for its health sciences programs with Healthway Qualimed Hospital Santa Rosa (HQSTR).  Mapúa MCL President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo and Healthway Philippines, Inc. (HPI) President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jaime Ysmael signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on April 24, 2025 for HQSTR to be the affiliate hospital for Mapúa MCL’s Nursing program, which is offered in collaboration with Arizona State University.

With the HPI team is Mr. Paolo Maximo F. Borromeo, President and CEO of Ayala Healthcare Holdings (AC Health); Dr. Maria Corazon Consunji, Healthway Qualimed Group Chief Operating Officer; Atty. Nirmala Barbara Vanguardia, HQSTR Chief Operating Officer; and the Medical Director, Dr. Lilibeth Maravilla.  The partnership is expected to complement the academic preparation of Mapúa MCL’s College of Nursing with Healthway Qualimed’s state-of-the-art hospital facilities and highly competent pool of healthcare professionals with a strong commitment to “Care Beyond Cure” advocacy, which means going beyond just treating illnesses to focus on overall well-being and lifelong health practices.

Mapúa MCL’s partnership with Healthway Qualimed Hospital Santa Rosa aims to support (the) UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
