Mapúa MCL’s BS Information Technology program earns prestigious accreditation from PICAB 

The Philippine Computer Society (PCS), through its Information and Computing Accreditation Board (PICAB) — the oldest IT professional organization in the country and second in Asia — has officially accredited Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) for its B.S. Information Technology (BSIT) program as of July 5, 2025. 

This accreditation, granted by PICAB’s Computing Accreditation Commission, affirms Mapúa MCL’s continued commitment to academic excellence, industry relevance, and global competitiveness in the field of information technology. The PICAB accreditation serves as a mark of quality assurance, ensuring that the program meets the highest standards in curriculum design, faculty expertise, facilities, and student outcomes.
