Mapúa MCL’s College of Arts and Science hosts the TsekMuna Symposium

On June 26, 2026, the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) College of Arts and Science (CAS) hosted a symposium titled “TsekMuna: Advancing Information Integrity from Mapúa MCL and Beyond” at the Francisco Balagtas Auditorium.    

The event featured an esteemed lineup of guest speakers, including Ms. Jene Ann Pangue, Training Coordinator and Ms. Ailla Dela Cruz, Researcher and Writer, from Rappler Inc.; Ms. Michelle Guillang, Journalist from ALLTV; and Mr. Reginaldo T. Guillen, Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator for the National Nutrition Council Regional Office VI and Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator and Officer-in-Charge for National Nutrition Council Northern Mindanao.  

They were joined by Mapúa MCL’s very own Dr. Hermie Articona, CAS faculty member. 

This initiative served as a platform to strengthen information literacy standards, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to truth and ethical communication.
