Too Young to be Sick? Universitas Esa Unggul and CHS host lecture on non-communicable diseases

On July 17, 2025, Dr. Noel R. San Antonio, Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL), served as the guest speaker in the lecture series “Too Young to Be Sick? Let’s Talk About Non-Communicable Diseases,” hosted by Universitas Esa Unggul, Indonesia, in collaboration with Mapúa MCL.     

The session addressed the growing concern of non-communicable diseases among young adults. Dr. San Antonio, who holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Program Development with over 20 years of professional experience in rehabilitation, education, and research, discussed key risk factors, both genetic and lifestyle-related, and emphasized relevant prevention strategies.    

This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals.
