Advancing Psychological Research with a Purpose: CHS holds Research Forum

On July 16, 2025,  Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna’s (Mapúa MCL) College of Health Sciences (CHS) Research Forum titled “Igniting Excellence, Shaping Compassionate Researchers Through Psychological Inquiry” was held at the Francisco Balagtas Auditorium. This meaningful event was a collaborative effort of students and faculty of the College of Health Sciences, with the support of Ugnayan ng Malayang Sikolohiya (UGMASIKO).  

The forum featured well-delivered research presentations by student researchers, showcasing their growing competence and confidence in scientific inquiry. Faculty from CHS also contributed valuable insights, and the Mapúa MCL Research Director, Dr. Hermie V. Articona, shared essential steps toward research publication. The event embodied Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna’s commitment to Excellence and Virtue, fostering a culture of critical inquiry, compassion, and innovation in the health sciences.  

The CHS Research Forum aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being as the core goal, supported by SDGs 4, 7, 9, 13, and 17 depending on the specific research focus.
