Mapúa MCL ETYCB participates in Faculty Mobility Program with Sunway University

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna’s E.T. Yuchengco College of Business (ETYCB) participated in a Faculty Mobility Program with Sunway University’s School of American Education in Malaysia. From July 7 to 21, 2025, Dr. Hermie V. Articona, ETYCB faculty member and Director of the Research Promotion and Coordination Office at Mapúa MCL, served as a visiting lecturer.   

As part of the engagement, Dr. Articona taught key Communication courses such as Mass Media and Society and Principles of Sociology. He also delivered a lecture to Ph.D. students on contextualizing Social Constructionism in research focusing on issues surrounding its application in today’s VUCA World.   

This initiative, facilitated by the Office for External Relations and Global Linkages, contributes meaningfully to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering cross-border academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
