Mapúa MCL Joins 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Global Sustainable Development Congress

Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapua MCL) joined global universities for the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Global Sustainable Development Congress on June 16 to 19, 2025 in Istanbul Congress Centre, Istanbul, Türkiye. The Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025, co-hosted with Türkiye’s Council of Higher Education and convened by Times Higher Education, brings together the world’s leading thinkers, policymakers, and actors from different sectors to drive new alliances and create positive action for a more sustainable future (Source: THE website).   

Assistant Vice President for External Relations and Global Linkages James Ronald O. Mesina is representing Mapua MCL as part of the Philippine Delegation organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), composed of 60+ higher education institutions (HEIs), which includes Mapua University and Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao. 

This activity was in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
