Mapúa MCL establishes partnership with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia

On May 2, 2025, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) officially forged a new international partnership with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in Johor, Malaysia.  

Representing Mapúa MCL, Prof. James Ronald O, Mesina, Assistant Vice President for External Relations and Global Linkages, while UTHM was represented by its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ruzairi bin Abdul Rahim. This meaningful collaboration opens opportunities for academic and institutional cooperation, with a particular focus on potential partnerships in aviation programs. Through student and faculty exchanges, joint initiatives, and shared expertise, all reflecting a shared commitment to fostering global engagement and enhancing the educational experience for students and faculty alike. 

 Together, both institutions advance the goals of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals—paving the way for global, inclusive, and future-ready education.
