iPeople expands partnership with Coursera

iPeople, a joint venture of the Yuchengco Group of Companies and Ayala Corporation, and Coursera, a world-renowned online learning platform, expanded their partnership on March 5, 2025 at an event held at the Mapúa Cardinal Cinema, Mapúa University Makati Campus.  

The expansion of this partnership aims to equip students across the six universities and colleges under iPeople, including Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna, for the AI-driven economy through AI-powered education, reinforcing iPeople and Coursera’s commitment to world-class education and workforce development.  

Mr. Alfredo I. Ayala, President of iPeople and Ms. Karine Allouche, Global Head of Enterprise at Coursera, along with Mr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, President and CEO of Mapúa University, graced the event as speakers. Also present was Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea, iPeople, Inc. Chairman and CEO. 

This initiative was in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
