On September 17, 2024, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna’s (Mapúa MCL) Office for External Relations and Global Linkages (OERGL), in collaboration with PESO Laguna, organized a highly successful Career Fair at the Laguna Provincial Capitol – Extension. This event was part of the celebration of the 57th Founding Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and supported Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

Registration began at 9:00 AM, drawing a diverse group of attendees, including private citizens and Mapúa MCL alumni. The fair featured over 40 companies, with a strong presence from Mapúa MCL’s partner organizations, offering a wide range of career opportunities. The event provided a valuable platform for job seekers to connect with employers from various industries, contributing to local economic growth and promoting decent work opportunities in the region.

To express their gratitude, Prof. James Ronald Mesina, Assistant Vice President for External Relations and Global Linkages, along with Ms. Pearl Stephanie Ulep, Director for Strategic Partnerships and Global Engagements, and PESO Laguna’s representative, Ms. Patricia Lafavilla, presented certificates of recognition and tokens of appreciation to the participating companies.
