Certification Programs

Adobe Certified Professional (ACP)

Adobe Certified Professional, delivered by Certiport, is the industry-recognized certification that demonstrates knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software and essential skills for digital media careers. Each certification is tied to one Creative Cloud product.

 

There are currently seven certifications available: 

  • Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop 
  • Graphic Design & Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator
  • Print & Digital Media Publication Using Adobe InDesign
  • Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Visual Effects & Motion Graphics Using Adobe
  • After Effects
  • Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Multiplatform Animation using Adobe Animate

Each Adobe Certified Professional certification is earned by passing a 50-minute, live-in-the-app exam that is administered through a Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC). The exams are integrated with Adobe software, designed by industry experts, and psychometrically validated, allowing for an authentic assessment of job-ready skills.

Autodesk Certified User (ACU)

Autodesk Certified User (ACU) is an industry-recognized certification for students with 150 hours (about 6 and a half days) of real-world Autodesk software experience. It serves as an official validation for students’ knowledge and ability.

The certification validates the recipient’s technical ability and industry-standard proficiency. It is an official endorsement from Autodesk that the recipient has the know-how and skills to succeed in today’s job market.  

The certification is awarded based on the individual’s performance on either the project-based exam where candidates are required to work through the questions directly in the Autodesk applications, or the ACU in Fusion 360 selective response exam where candidates answer questions directly tied to their knowledge of the software.  

All exams were created based on the research about design and engineering skills required by industry, government, and education.

Communication Skills for Business Certification (CSB)

The Professional Communication certification is intended for use primarily in academic settings including secondary and post-secondary but could also be used for candidates who need to upskill to enter the workforce. These candidates may be in government or development institutions and programs, or they may be individuals looking to become more employable on their own.  


An individual earning this certification has approximately 150 hours (about 6 and a half days) of instruction and hands-on experience.

Digital Literacy Certification (IC3)

IC3 Digital Literacy Certification program is dedicated to ensuring learners of all ages can not only navigate our digital world but thrive in it. It not only validates a learners’ ability to do more than simply consume technology, but it also enables them to comprehend the possibilities and form the foundational set of skills necessary to support our modern digital economy. The path to information and communication technology starts with IC3 Digital Literacy.

Entrepreneurship Certification (ESB)

ESB is the first in the new Certiport® Business Fundamentals Certification Program, which will also include certification exams in business disciplines such as Digital Marketing, and Finance. The ESB exam is intended for use primarily in academic settings including secondary schools, vocational schools, community colleges, and technical colleges. 

Candidates for ESB certification will be expected to have key conceptual knowledge of entrepreneurial and small business principles, although it is not required for students to have had real-world experience as a small business manager to take and pass the exam.

Successful completion of this certification will validate skills and knowledge for those students interested in working in a middle-skill trade profession as their own boss and those with entrepreneurship and small business career aspirations.

Information Technology Specialist (ITS)

The Information Technology Specialist program is a way for students to validate entry level IT skills sought after by employers. The IT Specialist program is aimed at candidates who are considering or just beginning a path to a career in information technology.  

Students can certify their knowledge in a broad range of IT topics, including software development, database administration, networking and security, mobility and device management, and coding. 

Intuit / Certified Bookkeeping Professional (QBCU)

QuickBooks Certified User has earned a certification that validates newly acquired QuickBooks skills for an entry-level position in professional accountancy and effectively demonstrate bookkeeping skills, including how to create purchase orders, track sales and expenses, produce and manage invoices, and monitor financial records. 

By certifying one’s skills, individuals can validate their technical abilities and demonstrate proficiency, while providing marketable skills that speak to employers. The objectives reflect an easy to understand platform for students to grasp accounting concepts while honing skills in the most prevalent bookkeeping application in small business today. 

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)

The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Program provides industry-leading assessments of skills and knowledge through our new project-based testing. These exams include multiple, small projects within Microsoft Office.  

 
Students and professionals will be tested on one project at a time. These small projects will test their skills as they would in the real world and validate their understanding of the Microsoft Office program functionality. This guarantees that every certified user has demonstrated the ability to operate the full features and gives students a commanding competitive edge in today’s academic and professional environments. 

Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE)

The Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) is a professional development program that bridges the gap between technology skills and innovative teaching. Educators holding an MCE certification can prove they have the skills needed to provide rich, customized learning experiences for their students that incorporate critical 21st century skills using Microsoft tools.  

Microsoft Certified Fundamentals (MCF)

The Microsoft Certified Fundamentals certification exams will put your students on the path to becoming the cloud computing consultants and admins of the future.  
 
The future of computing is in the cloud, and the cloud is growing fast! Whether it’s data storage, web hosting, CRM management, or online productivity tools, companies are looking for trained individuals who understand the benefits of the cloud.  
 
These entry-level exams are the first tier in Microsoft’s role-based certification program and will put students on the path to advance into Microsoft’s Associate and Expert level exams and prepare them to fill the most in demand jobs.
