UNC Visits for ISO 21OO1:2018 EOMS Benchmarking Activity
University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) representatives visited Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) on a two-day learning visit last April 3 to 4, 2024. This activity revolved around Mapúa MCL’s ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) standards, showcasing its growing reputation as a leading educational institution known for its commitment to excellence. The benchmarking initiative aimed to promote knowledge sharing and identify best practices to assist UNC in its journey towards ISO 21001:2018 EOMS accreditation.
The UNC IQA auditors were eager to understand Mapúa MCL’s approach to meeting EOMS standards. They collaborated with various colleges and departments and toured facilities to observe how EOMS standards are applied and implemented. This framework demonstrates Mapúa MCL’s dedication to establishing an efficient EOMS that interacts with different educational organizations and prioritizes learners, staff, and relevant interested parties.
