Modified Summer Campus Attire for 3rd Term, AY 23-24

With due consideration of the summer season, there will be a temporary change in the campus dress code policy. Starting from April 3, 2024, to July 26, 2024 (End of 3rd Term), all Mapúa MCL students are hereby allowed to wear decent short pants on campus.
Please note that this is the only exception to the dress code policy stated in the student handbook. All other rules and regulations regarding appropriate attire remain in effect. Any violation of the dress code policy will be subject to disciplinary action.
The following are the guidelines for the acceptable length and design of the short pants:

Shorts (and skirts) that reach below the student’s longest finger when standing upright
Shorts (and skirts) that are shorter than the student’s longest finger when standing upright
Board shorts, beach shorts, taslan shorts, athletic shorts (for non-P.E. classes), tattered shorts, cycling shorts, booty shorts, cut-off shorts, shorts with any offensive or inappropriate images or words; related to drugs, gangs, sex, violence, or weapons; or disrespectful to any person or group of people.
