MMA student wins 1st place at NDAA 2014

MMA student Kim Alexis Tinambacan won 1st place at the Motion Graphics – Student Category of the National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA) 2014 with his video entry, “7 Things Why It’s More Fun In the Philippines”. Nearly 10,000 students from more than 80 high schools in Laguna, Metro Manila, Cavite, and Batangas gathered at Malayan Colleges Laguna for the 9th MCL Cup last November 22 and 25 to 29, 2014. CE program chair presents research in Brisbane, Australia

Civil Engineering program chair Engr. Hermie M. Del Pilar recently presented a paper at the Geotechnique Construction Materials and Environment (GEOMATE) 2014 International Conference with the joint support of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL). Held last November 19 to 21 at the University of Southern Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, the conference was participated in by 45 countries. Only 85 papers were chosen to be presented among the 386 abstracts of scientific papers received.... (full story)
